    I never thought I'd see this day!

    I got my discharge today!

    I was sick of waiting so I called the clerk's office and she input it on the spot. It's already showing up on Pacer!

    She said she'd have to wait until May 2nd to close it as my case was changed from Asset to No Asset and she has to wait 30 days from that date to close a case. SO.....I"M OFFICIALLY FREE TODAY!
    11/14/07 -filed C7 12/04/07 -case pulled for random audit.12/18/07 -341 held: Asset case due to engagement ring & tax return.02/19/08 - US trustee files motion to extend. 04/02/08- changed back to NO ASSET! I get my ring back and get to keep my tax return! :clapping: 04/28/08 -DISCHARGED!!! :yahoo::yahoo: 05/07/08 - CLOSED!!!

                          Thank you EVERYONE! I know this has been said a ka-gillion times before BUT.....I could NOT have done it without the help and support from the people on this board. Each and every person on here has been in some of their darkest hours and this board is what saves a lot of us from just utter and total despair.

                          I remember back to when I first thought about filing and how scared I was and just how in complete denial that I was that this was going to happen to me. I educated myself and armed myself with the support that I needed to get through this and here I am today. My life has changed A LOT since before my divorce but I'm in a much better place now even though I STILL don't have a lot of extra money in my new family situation, anything is better than being in the extreme debt that I was in. So thank you BK board for being here. God Bless the INTERNET!!!

                          (And - to top it all off - we got our tax return check yesterday in the mail. It was a GOOOD Day yesterday.)

                            I was so glad to read your post. I remember the rough time you were having after you filed.
