Definitely. We are in the same boat but at the end of the process and put the utility bills for the house we're surrendering on our creditor matrix. Once your utilities are established at your new address I think it is very unlikely that you'd be charged a deposit.

Past Due Utility Bill
I am surrendering my home in Ch 7. I filed June 11, 2008 and moved into a rental on the 19th. I had my utilities transferred to my new address. My question is; can I include my final utility bills from the old address in the BK? My new address has different account numbers from my utilities. Could they charge a deposit on my new address after service has already started? My final power bill is over $500. The house is empty and utilities have been cut off at that address.
Any help would be appreciated.
