Thanks everybody for all the kind thoughts. Unfortunately, it was not smooth sailing. The UST wanted to talk to me because my attorney had made mistakes on my paperwork, incorrect income, creditors listed as co-debtors and other items.
I was the last person in the morning session, and got out of there after 2pm. I will be going back next month; will keep everyone posted. Thank you again for the good vibes.
My attorney failed to list all of my 'cash' assets, 401K's..
Not that there were alot, but I let the trustee know it was missing.
I did not want this to appear that I was 'hiding' anything, so I mentioned the errors in the paperwork, marked up a copy of my filing, and sent it with the attorney to fix.

Sorry to hear that. Hope things go better next month
How in the world did the lawyer mess up your income?
Sorry to hear it didn't go well. Gotta love the way attorneys "approximate" the calculations and we get stuck defending them. Your attorney (even if you have a bad one) MUST communicate with the UST directly ASAP to find out where the UST is trying to go with this.
Is the UST recalculating your income in a way that puts you above the presumed abuse threshold? It may look to you like the UST is just looking for a little more information, but this is rarely the case. The UST is likely looking at ways to "adjust" your means test into conversion to Ch. 13 or dismissal and has only 10 days from the continued 341 hearing to make a decision. Make your attorney get to work!
