Thanks for the good vibes! 341 all finished...

... and besides being really late getting started (trustee had to come from 2 counties away), it went off without a hitch. We were first and the trustee was very pleasant -- even made golf chit chat with my hubby. Nice tension reliever.

Sidebar -- you guys are so lucky. You always have golf/baseball/insert sport here as something in common no matter WHO you meet, no matter WHAT the situation.

At any rate, it only lasted 5-10 minutes. The trustee told the room before he got started that his purpose was really just to find assets that might have been overlooked. Period. He was pretty clear that he wasn't out "to get anyone" or make life difficult. I certainly appreciated that.

Our attorney said that Circuit City will probably want us to pay the $700 balance on our CC card that was for a tv we bought in December, but other than that, it was really uneventful.

So, I guess we're officially members of the 60 day club. Here's to 60 days of no snarls or complications! (clink glasses here!).

I had to laugh here. That's not so with my 'Hub. [Insert sport here] and with him, you'll get a blank look. He detests sports. Now if you insert a computer question here......

Seriously, I am so pleased that it went well. I hope it continues to do so. Congratulations!! [Another clink of glasses!]

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have retained my lawyer and will file after I finish the inventory for my business--which is now closed. I am grateful to those who share their experiences as they go through the process.

                Hi SJR,

I'm glad your 341 went well, you are in the 60 day count down club! You trustee sounds very nice and you are lucky.

As for Mrs Cat, that's my hubby too! Sports, nah, computers and you won't be able to pipe him down! He "collects" calculators too(!), what are the chances that our trustee will do the same? I'll keep my fingers crossed
