... and besides being really late getting started (trustee had to come from 2 counties away), it went off without a hitch. We were first and the trustee was very pleasant -- even made golf chit chat with my hubby. Nice tension reliever.
Sidebar -- you guys are so lucky. You always have golf/baseball/insert sport here as something in common no matter WHO you meet, no matter WHAT the situation.
At any rate, it only lasted 5-10 minutes. The trustee told the room before he got started that his purpose was really just to find assets that might have been overlooked. Period. He was pretty clear that he wasn't out "to get anyone" or make life difficult. I certainly appreciated that.
Our attorney said that Circuit City will probably want us to pay the $700 balance on our CC card that was for a tv we bought in December, but other than that, it was really uneventful.
So, I guess we're officially members of the 60 day club. Here's to 60 days of no snarls or complications! (clink glasses here!).
