I seem to be getting all these offers for new vehicles. It looks like these offers are for folks that are post BK. What a bunch of sharks. Sure we will sell you a car, and the APR is only 20% or something like that.

Looks like they get info off the public records.

Welcome to the world of creditor junk mail after discharge. They are right there when the discharge information comes through. You will get mail from car dealerships you never even heard of and all sorts of loan offers from places with strange names. We even got vacation brochures. There are sharks always in the water - you just have to navigate around them.

I never thought I would get so much junk mail after discharge. I thought you guys were joking about that. So far I've gotten 2 car financing offers at a whopping 22% and several junk credit cards. These guys smell blood in the water and seem to be willing to lend you money if you are crazy enough to take it on THEIR terms.
