Wow pretty messed up situation, but look at it this way, it could have been even worse. The job I got when I was a senior in high school was open because the previous woman who had it decided to embezzle $10K to support her bf's cocaine habit and he left her the minute she ended up behind bars, plus she had to pay about $95 back every month after she got released until she paid back everything she stole along with IIRC fines and interest. I did that job for years and got a chuckle everytime I deposited the check from the Dept. of Corrections who had garnished her wages and wondered if she learned her lesson. Sounds like the ex had himself a nice little shotgun wedding.
I suppose since you cosigned that him coming after you was the only way you were responsible, because if he could afford to just cut them a check and pay the balance the creditors would have left you alone since they could have got it all from him. You're better off without someone like that anyway. An old boss of mine last I heard was still with her younger man who stood her up at the alter multiple times and who she walked in on having sex with her daughter. I guess some people never learn. My best friend's ex kept pushing back their wedding, but at least they never had it all planned with money being spent out, but he finally got fed up and moved out. I told him she liked her horses better anyway since she was buying and paying room and board on them and all her other pets when they were struggled to afford food for themselves and sure enough after he moved out she bought another horse. LOL
I wouldn't worry too much about the ex or the apartment, if those get listed and they get discharge there are big fines for trying to still collect. I kind of wish my creditors would try, the extra money would be great.
I'm not sure what form the lease should end up on, but the car should be on Schedule D since it is secured even if you are reaffirming as I told them was my plan from the start. There will be another form you'll be seeing soon for the reaff unless they wait until the 341. I believe you still have 45 days after the 341 to reaffirm anything.
