    Online BK Services

Hello all! I was curious if anyone ever used or heard of REMOVED URL Do it Yourself Documents.
They are pretty reasonably priced. You fill out the paper work and they type it up for you from what I gather. I can't afford an attorney - they charge around $2000 here. I'm filing for Chapter 7- I'm a prime candidate - no assets! I'm not totally retarded so.. (except for getting $21,000 in debt) LOL - So any insight on some good online services or even software would be greatly appreciated.

What you need to know about these services is that they only prepare documents for you based on what you provide them as to information. They are not attorneys (usually run/operated by paralegals) and cannot give you legal advice nor represent you in your filing. So if you run into problems, you are on your own.

Have you checked attorneys in your area? Get a bunch of free consultations. You just may find someone you like and pay about the same. 2k for a do it yourself...I wouldnt.

Thanks, I understand that. I've done ALOT of research on Chapter 7 and it seems that my case would be very cut and dry. I have no assets, my car is in my fathers name, I can pass the means test. I have already done the credit counseling. Ugh.. now I don't know what to do... Maybe I should hire an attorney after all. I sure don't wanna be rejected for something stupid that did or didn't put on the forms. Yikes.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I am of course going to have my "Highly Intelligent" Father help me with this. So we'll see. I'll let you know what goes down. I'm gathering everything and this weekend we're gonna sit down and get busy on it.

Oh, he bought in 2002 I think. No it has never been in my name. We just never transferred the title. So it's technically totally his. Anyhow, I would think a vehicle would be an exemption in Texas but of course not I'm not for sure on that.
