My Attorney sent me a letter, it listed everything I needed to bring with me and have done by the 341.

They wanted my account balances of the day I filed, the second debt education course completed, my drivers license and social security card.

I was to bring nothing else with me, as you also should have provided all the other needed paperwork to your Attorney before filing. Although maybe it varies from district to district, and possibly its more complicated if you own a business or not. I had nothing but a house and 2 autos secured.

You should get a letter stating what they need for the 341. If there is a problem you should know well before the 331, at least that is how my attorney said it would work for me.

        I got my letter

telling me when the 341 is and asking for Drivers license and ss cards and that was it. but just wondering if the US trustee wants anything else how much time before the 341 he can ask.... or even if they can ask after the 341...

I heard something about 3 weeks before my 341 and that was from the US trustee. But, even at your 341 the trustee can still ask for additional information to be sent to them. Hope that helps.

Believe me the 341 is easier then ehat you are imagining. I got there about 45 minutes before mine started, so i was able to listen to everyone elses 341 Its the same questions that they ask everyone else. My trustee was asking the same questions to the firs 20 people and the same one to me. It was kinda like a robot. LOL. Did you sign this, do you owe anyone money, does anyone owe you money, will you be inheriting any money, etc. its basic qiestions. If you petition is on the up and up you should have no problem at all. Yes, I know easier said then done. I was a HUGE worry wart with the 341 but then when I was on my way up to the 341 i felt a calmness, not a worry in the world. I just said to hubby its business and thats it. So i said whatever happens happens. When you walk out of the 341 you are going to say thank god its over, but boy that was nothing.

I was one that could have had the UST ask for things because of the high debt, and my attorney said that they would let me know well in advance of my 341(no specific time) if something was wrong or they needed something more. I never heard anything and they weren't at my 341.
