Maybe now with the dems in office we can fix up this joke of a credit system. From applying to credit to debt collection. No one apart from law enforcement should have access to our personal details. Especially not some debt collector. Or have we resorted to South American tactics of toe-nail extraction to get debt paid. Unless someone fraudulently stole money, the banks should have little recourse if their credit goes sour.
This whole bk process and credit environment has opened my eyes to researching other countries and how they do things elsewhere. I would say 90% of the crap allowed here is not legal there. Including the level of information sharing as well as debt collection tactics. For some of you, rather than the silly thought of committing suicide for what money, just move overseas pal. They cannot touch you there and would be arrested if they tried.
The American dream to me has now become the land of illusions, ruled by the stroke of the rich and powerful. Where the government throws out $700 billion and does not ask a single question. Yet drills the auto industry for a measly $14 billion. They even drilled them on how they traveled to DC but said nothing about AIGs $400,000 vacation for execs following their no-hassle bailout. It is just sad to think that this country was founded for we the people, ceryainly not for financial firms.
