    Some food for thought...

    I talked to my bk lawyer today, just touching base really before my 341 meeting on 1-29... the lawyer said I have one of the "tougher" trustees

    More and more Im starting to freak out alittle here! Ive already planned out what Im going to wear that day, no watch- dont want to be a mr. smarty pants going in there with a watch on, no caffeine that morning (dont want to be all giddy!) lol. Gonna wear my khaki pants and a polo shirt. Dont want to go in there with my suit and look like I have money coming outta my ears, because I certainly dont! No cologne either.

    Am I prematurely spazzing or what? lol
    Retained bk7 laywer 8-12-08, Filed 12-22, 341 Meeting Scheduled 1-29-09
         Discharged 4-17-09!!!

    It's completely normal to "spaz" between filing and closing - we've all done it to some degree at some point. The key is to keep the stress and negative thoughts within perspective and at reasonable levels.

    You've done everything you can to make your filing and your 341 a success. Now consider working on building a better financial budget for yourself and family - a very good use of all that anxious energy! 99.9% of the time you'll find out all your worry was for nothing. Hang in there!

      I wouldn't skimp on the cologne! Lot of clammy nervous people at the 341!

        You know if you weren’t worried or appzing there would be something wrong. I can’t imagine going through a BK and not worrying. You will be fine and the trustee well I hate to tell you he/she isn’t going to remember what you were wearing. I don’t think I made any eye contact with mine he was going through his thing and I was doing what I was supposed to do. It’s just a day to day thing with them. Of course they would love to make some money from you but if there is nothing there well that’s it.

          So its going to be stinky in there? Maybe I'll bring some febreze too..lol
