2008 Tax Return, no one wants it?

I thought I had to hand over my 2008 tax return, I even only had 2k exempted and got back around 2400. I called today and my case has been discharged and closed, and my Attorney told me no one even needs the return.

I thought it was a mandatory thing. *shrug*

Anyone else have this happen?

Well it looks like you did the right thing by exempting $2000 of your $2400 return - there is not enough left to interest the Trustee! Congratulations!
