    Creditor Claims

How long does it usually take for a creditor to file a claim? We filed 6/10/2009 and I have been checking Pacer (compulsively) but so far the only claims were filed by the bank with our mortgage and the bank that repo'd our SUV.

Are they supposed to file a claim before the 341?

    Thanks!

Generally speaking, in a no-asset case, only your secured creditors file a claim. that is, your home and your car(s). It's fruitless for an unsecured creditor to file a claim in a no-asset case, since there is no distribution (money).

We filed May 28th and we still don't have any (secured or unsercured) creditors that have filed a claim. They'll probably all file on the last day.
