yeah, right after that at work. then i log into my VM account at work and i can see they started calling my home. i have my home phone on permenant VM, and i can check online to see the caller ID of who called, then I google it and add it to a spreadsheet so I know who owns each #.

I sure hope not. That would be ah, just great Thankfully when my receptionist picks up the phone and pages me, I can just put it straight into my voicemail at work and screen my calls.

Last year when I was about to trade a car in, the auto dealer put in a request for a 10 day payoff but apparently didn't provide the account number. I have both of my car loans are through WF and the person at WF put in a request for payoff for both of them. According to WF, if a request is put in for it, they automatically turn off the EFT from your WF checking account.

Get this, one day goes by after my payment was de and without my knowledge that it was, in fact, shut off, I get a call from collections asking me to make a payment now, despite the fact that funds where waiting there in the checking account waiting to be EFT. This would go on 5 more times within the next two weeks where they would manually put funds in the loan, but it would be taken out and place back into my checking account, followed by a collections call the next day.

I completely understand that this is an advantage to a customer who's really trading in the vehicle (in this case, I was not trading in both vehicles).

Needless to say, it was a headache and I was VERY suprise they would call me from collections (yes collections!) one day after being late.

I'm not surprized at all.. out of all my calls from other creditors, they seem to be the worst !! lucky for me tho, the calls have stopped .. Since I have owned my home over the past 11 years, i have been with two other lenders, homecomings and countrywide. and I gotta say, neither of them are no where near as bad as wells fargo !!
If i had known they were going to be this bad, I would have never done any business with them. Oh well you live and you learn

Paid the min payments right up to the filing date. Never got one call or one letter from them.

Now they are discharged.

I am sure they would have been brutal, but the auto stay held them at bay. Best Buy were the only ones that ignored the auto stay. I am figuring on hearing from Best Buy and the bogus law firm they use to harass you anytime now that I am discharged. Seems to be their MO.

I must admit, you are one of the lucky ones !! Best buy is bad huh.. I also heard from a thread here, that home depot is a pain in the A$$ too .. My husband has always wanted a home depot card, not gonna happen

Same situation, paid the min right up to filing and the stay took care of the rest. Never heard from them. Almost every creditor called one time and I gave them my attorney, case number and that it was bk7. Amex was snotty about it but some actually said sorry you are having trouble and never called again.
