i am just saying that some of the posts were not pleasant or constructive or helpful to anyone. wouldn't it be better for everyone if such posts were avoided? if a poster says "leave me alone" (or something like that), then he should be left alone.

Music, I agree with what you are saying. However, I don't feel (at least what I wrote) was "bashing" DM and I don't really care if he changes his story or what he says about his affairs. What I care about is how he treats others. We already had one other instance in another thread which resulted in some action.

This forum is supposed to be safe for all, which means DM needs to adhere to that too. For him to, as I said in my last post, post judgements on other people and TELL THEM what they should be doing per his opinions is not appropriate and then complain about similar things in his own situation.

There is a difference between saying something like: Oh my God you are insane for doing that! Or it personally offends me when I hear you say this/do this! And saying: personally, I could never see myself paying that much...etc etc...

And as I also said... he is free to bash and judge everyone else on their lifestyles etc...but as soon as the table is turned he cries wolf? I'm sorry but that is just not right.

ok, people, everybody's opinions aside, please leave DM alone. i used to say everything i thought in a direct manner to someone's face. i then learned that it often causes more grief than it does any good. plus there is that possibility out there that i might be wrong. everybody gets to choose what to post here, and just because it might seem to some that DM changes his story, that's his prerogative if that's really the case, though i believe that there must be more to the story and if we all had the full picture of his story, it would make sense.

so really, we can help each other only based on what is being posted. one poster's negative opinion about another poster really has no place on this forum. it's supposed to be a safe haven for everybody, not everybody except DM.

so please let it go, ok? DM has more than enough to deal with.

How can you say that everyone gets to choose what to post here, then tell us to stop posting stuff to DM? If he's going to post what he wants, he has to accept the fact that everyone else is going to do the same and he may not like our replies.

Just sounds more like he can dish it out but can't take it. He's very quick to yell at someone and tell them they need to move to a different state or they are "insane" for something they do that he doesn't agree with. Or he is "personally offended" when you don't live up to what he thinks is right and true. It really gets old....

Oh DM, we are all in the same boat and not judging you! At least I am not but it is all a trade off what you have to pay for that doesn't seem fair and what is given to help you out in return. Yep, we may live in a country where we are taxed to death but then we can go ahead and file BK when we get ourselves extended and have it forgiven for a fresh start.

Besides, I like reading your posts, think they are refreshing.
