    Cell phone bill before filing

We are planning on our first offical meeting next week. Our cell phone bill is past due and unknowingly we ran up the bill to 250.00, it is usually about 90.00. Now this month we have gone over 200 min, so the bill will probably be about 150.00. Should we pay down this debt? I don't want it to look fradulent because it wasn't meant tht way at all. We stopped using the phones and are possibly getting a main phone line since we have to catch up on our mortgage this month and can't pay those high bills our phones will be shut off?

Suggestions? Should we pay the over the limit min we used??

A larger than average cell phone bill will not be seen as abuse. You can include the bill and the contract in your petition if you want, and switch to an inexpensive prepay plan.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

If you are still under contract, make sure you cancel before you file. That way you can include the early termination fees in your petition.

GREAT advice!!!! Also, don't assume it's "canceled" just because you stopped paying and they shut off the phone. You have to actually cancel the service!

Yes list the account as an unsecured debt and the contract as an executory contract to be terminated.
