Well, my 341 was held on Oct. 12, and the trustee said he needed to see my credit card statements. I had thrown everything away, so I had to send off for them and some of the companies wouldn't even talk to me and my lawyer had to ask for them. Long story, we finally got them, sent them off last week to the trustee, and today my lawyer called and said I was on the docket for today. I am to hang around and see if the trustee wants me to appear.
Lawyer said everything seemed to be ok, but the paralegal for the trustee said they didn't have a record of having received all the docs. He had his paralegal fax them up to the court for the trustee. But the lawyer can't stay and has a another attorney who will call me if I need to be there. I'm a wreck.
The trustee wanted to see the statements because he wanted to make sure my husband wasn't on any of them. He isn't. I filed by myself. I know the trustee is probably a bit ticked off because he can't touch any of our property, because it is held by the entirety, and in Missouri that means Bankruptcy courts can't touch it.
Also there is no sign of abuse. So he is trying to find everything he can. Last week the trustee filed a request to have the response period extended to Jan. 12. This is so unfair -- but I guess it just the way it is.
Anybody think I should be worried?
