Today's mail yielded a reaffirmation from a creditor, with a lovely letter saying to sign and return or abandon the merchandise. There isn't merchandise...it was a loan taken for an emergency plane ticket, which was the reason put on the loan application, so they know there's nothing to return. I don't have to sign this, right? There's no reason to reaffirm this, as it is unsecured.

Correct! Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Yeah, I wouldn't mail them anything either or call them....... they will figure it out soon enough.......
You said it was a loan for plane tickets, did you put anything down for collateral - vehicle or anything??? Just checking......
Just smile, hang on to the paper till after discharge and go on about your merry way.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

There was no colleratal, and I looked at the loan papers to make sure, so I should be ok. I decided not to call either.

You could also send them the headphones if you got a set and maybe the complimentary empty beverage can and the empty snack wrapper.
LOL
Chances are you flew an airline that is bankrupt too. Maybe the trustee's can fight it out.

Hey - Its Wed. Gotta work in the morning.
Off topic (like I wasn't already, LOL) but I got in trouble on Mon. night for playing a computer game: Sims 2. My son - he's 7 by the way - asked me: Do you think you should be playing on the computer tonight?
