Can a military pension be taken away in a Chapter 7 bk?
Thanks to all who post on this forum

What do you mean by taken away? Any retirement account is certainly protected.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

Mil pension can only be garnished for court ordered child support.

Absolutely NOT. Same goes for VA compensation and Social Security. But, Social Security Disability can be tapped until you turn 65, then the name changes only from SSD to Social Security, and that amount doesn't change either.
          (first 341 10/14/09, cont'd 341 10/23/09) (12/14/09 last day to object) (341 Shows HELD w/tt report of no distribution 1/9/2010)
