    Payments made after discharge

Why will some creditors take money and others won't?

I'm talking about secured debts; like a house.

There is no equity in my house, and there hasn't been since before my BK. I wish that I would have stopped paying my 2nd mortgage 20 months ago and saved myself the 11K I've already paid. They'd probably want to work with me in settling the debt at this point. It's only been 4 months since I stopped paying and they don't really want to talk yet.

Is it against the BK stay/code/whatever to accept payments on a non-reaffirmed debt?

They can accept voluntary payments on your part. In fact, the code says you may pay whomever you please post bk.
What a creditor can't do is ask you for money on discharged debt. That's why they are treading carefully.

Yep... the discharge actually reads that...

Also, a debtor may voluntarily pay any debt that has been discharged.
