    Creditor at 341 Meeting Today

Had my 341 meeting today and while we were waiting to be called, an attorney for one of my creditors approached me to discuss the account. It's a credit card from City Furniture, backed by Wells Fargo (WFFNB). They sent a reaffirmation agreement, but I never sent it back, since I don't want to reaffirm the debt. The attorney asked about the condition of the furniture, etc. and I told him it was all scratched up and was out bedroom set (bed, mattress, etc.). He seemed to be pretty cool about it and said he doubts the creditor would send somebody to pick it up. He left right after speaking with me and didn't attend the 341 meeting.

Should I be nervous? I'm filing pro-se. 341 went smooth though.

Of course no one here has a reliable crystal ball, but even without the attorney for your furniture company speaking to you directly, the chances of the company coming after your furniture was about zero. I wouldn't worry about this.

If the furniture company does say they want to come get the furniture, just tell them ok, but they'll have to clean all the pieces because your dog thought they were a good potty spot (Just teasing ).

Really - no company wants your used furniture back. Who would buy it for the amount of remaining loan? Doesn't make financial sense. Hope you like it, because chances are you'll be keeping it free and clear after your case closes.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

LRPRN is absolutely correct. Unless it is an antique, buying a used bed is like wearing another person's underwear.

Bk has enough stress so don't worry about the little things. Don't even worry about the big things as it is now in the hands of the Court.

American General attempted to slip in a reaffirmation agreement by mailing it to the Trustee would you believe? The Trustee looked at it, smiled and handed it to us and asked us did we know about this? We said no, and he said, he didn't either and handed it to us. We burned it. AG has some sneaky ways.

you will do just fine. 'Hub
