Interesting point on mine - both the largest and smallest unsecured debt listed on my petition were with medical facilities associated with one another. One was for a hospital bill that was over $20k. The other was to one doctor associated with the hospital - that one was for $19 (that's right - nineteen dollars). I thought about going ahead and paying that one - but the same doctor had another bill for $230 that went to the only collections agency that threatened to sue me. That pretty well made that decision for me!

Yes, 30+ pages of questions is normal. Have you taken a look at the BK petition yet? It's pretty long in itself and your attorney will be filling it on your behalf so they do need all the info from you. In my case, my attorney used a website for the questions and so after I filled it out he just imported the data. But with additional things like bank statements, taxes and paystubs, I also scanned them, saved as pdf and emailed it his legal assistant. Whatever you do though, just be sure to keep multiple copies of everything in case your attorney requests things again. My attorney reminded me time and time again that in order for him to do his job fully, I needed to provide complete and accurate data. Believe it or not, even with an attorney, you yourself should be involved in the process and checking the paperwork they send you for accuracy. Your attorney can only go on the information that you provide them.

            Yeah.
I had to list every creditor, and every bill collector associated with each bill.
Some of which had gone through 7 or 8 different collections agencies.
And I had to have a copy of the bill and 1 collections letter from each debt collector associated with each bill.

Some of the medical bills were really small. Like under $10.
But when taken as a whole, they really added up. Especially since we had at least 40 different medical bills. (really wish hospitals would combine stuff, as each visit was a seperate account number and bill)
            7/01/10 - filed!
            11/20/10 - discharged and closed
