First off I have to thank some very specific folks who have held my hand the last few weeks as I scrambled to put together a Chapter 7. Having not planned on doing it until a few days before I did the Emergency Petition; I had ALOT of work to do with little time to learn it.

Without this forum I would not be breathing a sigh of relief. I should have filed about 6 years ago, but wouldnt you know it, we went to a BK attorney who told us we didn't owe enough to file. HA! ....when you have no extra money to pay off those old bills, the balances just grow and grow. So I have in effect wasted 6 years with shitty credit and bill collectors chasing me. No more I say! No more! In a few months I am going to be breathing easier, will be happy to answer my phone and when someone knocks on my my door, I won't check behind the curtains for a man with a clipboard who wants to serve me a judgement!
I am looking into the future 3-5 years and see a nice low interest FHA loan, a auto loan with interest in the single digits, 6 months of savings tucked away, money back in my 401k, husband working, 2 kids college tuitions paid, a trip to St Thomas and shoot, why not think crazy............... maybe another baby. Could it all happen? hmmmm............
By trade I am a legal negotiator, thus the 1001 BUTS, AND and IFS I seem to overthink everything.I put at least 40 hours into the packet, so much for the 10-20 average, and I have a simple no asset Chapter 7.
So thanks everyone who has helped and posted and put up with me over the last few weeks..... and I am going to apologize NOW for the next few weeks, cause it aint quite over yet and I already have a list of things bugging me. HA!
