Finally did it!!!

Just sent in money to retain an attorney and told 2 CC companies I was filing. That was a lot harder than I thought it would be.
I am just 1 month behind on my CC payments and they have been calling all the time already.
Now I have to wait until April to file.

Congrats! I was so glad the day I retained a lawyer..he just filed my case on Nov the 12th... I was told by my attorney not to tell the collection agencies that your filing until your case has been filed because they will want your attorney info, case number, and the district that you filed in...so thats what I did. It was filed on a Friday and that Monday I was going thru my caller ID calling every 800 # and informing them. I wanted to do that to end the calls and letters, even though they will receive a former letter in a few days (I think by 14 days)...and my phone has not rung again since then... I see the light at the end of the tunnel...
