    attempted serve after filing

We filed 7 about six weeks ago (1/26), had our 341 just a few days ago
and we just found out that someone attempted to serve us at a relatives house
we have no idea what this could be and why now
Any idea how we can find out what its for ?
was feeling good after the smooth 341 but something else to worry about
we will call our lawyer tomorrow to see what we should do

Did you move? Do your relatives live in the same county as you? Contact whichever county court the papers were attempted to be served in. Tell the clerk that you know that someone attempted to serve you papers and that you've filed bk. You should be able to get the information that way. If this is a creditor who didn't receive the notice of bk, you just need to have your attorney send them a copy of your bk notice.
Filed pro se, made it through the 341, discharged, Closed!!!

do you know who it is that is attempting to serve you???

i agree with free2breath just contact your atty and see what the firms says...also most likely the person or place suing you, you most listed on the petition and their notice from the court passed them in the mail between the time they were trying to serve you.

If a bailiff or Sheriff attempted, you can also call the Sheriff office records dept. They can tell you the source of the document to be served. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.
