What is happening between discharge and closing?

You have no worries then. All you need to do is wait for the closing which will probably be in the next few weeks. Your case has not been designated as an "asset case", which would have had to be done before the 60 days.

That's what I thought, but my attorney told me the trustee was reviewing my case to see if I had any assets to distribute or open an estate with. Maybe he was referring to the trustee reviewing my documents that indicated we were "no asset" as opposed to doing a full-on review at this point, which is what I was led to think.

sometimes the trustee's are backed up....unfortunately and i have heard some people wait over 2 months ...so i wouldn't worry just yet.
