If you've dealt with US Bank

were they ok with a stay and pay agreement? We've had our 341. They sent a reaffirmation request to our lawyer even though we stated we wanted to stay and pay. Has anyone dealt with them before with a mortgage?

There is no reason to reaffirm a mortgage under any circumstances! As long as you are making the payments as agreed, the bank cannot legally foreclose. This is very different than a vehicle loan, which can be reposessed after bankruptcy--even if paid on time--if the lender wants to be an a$$hole about it. As long as you keep paying the mortgage, you can stay in the house, and if you pay it off you will still own the house--even if you don't agree to reaffirm the mortgage debt.
