Chapter 13 convertion to 7 question

So we converted to a 7 almost 60 days ago. Any idea when the 13 Trustee will refund the $600 balance??

Whether you get a refund depends on when you converted. As I understand, but I may be wrong, if the plan was "confirmed", the money get's distributed...if the plan was not confirmed, then you get a refund.

The above is correct. If not confirmed it could take the 13 Trustee up to 90 days to do his final disbursements and the amount refunded may be reduced by any adequate protection payments or legal fees that need to be paid. It's a process. If you want to know when and approximately how much you may contact your 13 Trustee to find out.
