Voluntary Surrender

We had a vehicle when we filed chapter 7 in 7/2009 (discharged in 11/09) We did NOT reaffirm this vehicle, and gave it back to the bank. How should this be reported on your credit reports? Ours is listed as Voluntary repossession 8/10. Account included in Bankruptcy 8/11. We only filed once in July 2009 and it was discharged in 11/09. Don't know where they are getting 8/11, but this whole account seems to be screwing up our credit.

Dispute that item indicating that the BK was filed in 7/2009 and the debt was discharged. Check the credit agencies' websites for instructions on how to dispute an item.
