I just checked pacer to see if there was anything new. It says discharged and case closed.

Thanks for all the information shared here. It made the process less stressful. I'm also thankful for a fresh start.

I take having your case discharged and closed on the same day is a good thing? I just had my BK discharged and closed on same day (10/30/13) which was two days after final day for any creditor to file any claim, objections, etc (10/28/13)

I took the discharge and closing of my case on the same day as a good thing as I had read thru several posts on BK Chapter 7 and it seemed that the closing of the case took some time after the discharge was granted....? like 30 to 60 days after the discharge then the case would be closed.
