We inherited a floating two week timeshare in Cabo San Lucas Mexico that was $27,000 new. The pool is one of those infinity pools that are extremely desireable from what I have heard. We love the place especially the water bar that you swim up too and being in the pool at sunset is unbelivable, looks like your swiming in the ocean if your head is real low in the pool. Have no idea what the thing is worth it is a 50 year lease timeshare, 14 years have been consumed and association dues capped at $550 a year.




I wonder if the trustee will try to sell this??

What's to stop me from making a gift of services up to a sum of $11,000 all perfectly legal. . Selling the timeshare for low book value would generate cash for the "journey" and accomplish a few other "desired tasks". I can handle the low evaluation, remember if you sell it outright depending on how you spend the cash and on what, you might end up forking it over to the Trustee.
