So I went to the meeting with the lawyer for a pre 341 meeting. So far everything looks good. I am getting more and more nervous as the date approaches though. She said there was nothing they would want to take and whatever they did take had to be of value of at least 1000 which I did not have. I asked her about tax refunds and she said that they usually will not ask for that at this time of year....she said trustees only look for that for people that file during tax time or really late in the year. She said that my earned income credit and child tax credit is also exempt. So that is about all I know until Friday.

The one I went through is www.aaapersonalfinance.com
I can't afford to pay $50....so I priced the entire list he gave me. It's online and I got it done in about 45 minutes......
well maybe I wasn't reading everything....if I got bored I kind of skimmed.....

Thanks for that link!
I just completed my pre-filing counseling this evening on line with CCCS of Atlanta. That cost $50, but they imported my credit report info and I had all the expense info already to go for my lawyer --- took less than an hour. Everything needed goes right to my lawyer in 24 hours. Now after I file next week, I can look at the predischarge course, and I'll look at your link for sure.August '05 Business failed.
Spring '06 Found this site, thank heavens

The post bankruptcy is general credit information. Don't get in over your head....etc... They have a few form where you can import your financial data and what not. The work sheets were helpful. I printed them off.Filed 07/14/2006
