So, the merchant doesn't get there charge batch in quick enough and the 35.00 authorization falls off. The next day you make a 10.00 purchase, only going by whether it goes through or not. If the 35.00 purchase from the day prior goes through at the same time the 10.00 goes through you have overdrawn by 5.00, which results in fees. The debit card co. has to honor both charges because they authorized them. Hope this makes sense. Be careful

WesternUnion doesnt charge any overdraft fees like a bank does on a regular checking account card and the only time I have been in the hole is by maybe 2 bucks for if I made a call and they charged my account. But then again I always know exactly how much I have to spend and I dont overspend - I fill it for what I want to purchase and thats all I fill it for so I always know how much I have left in my head from my purchases

      UWishToo,............

You might try filing a report with IC3. It's a Federal Agency that coordinates the appropriate legal agencies to investigate complaints associated with Internet crimes.

      http://www.ic3.gov/

The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

IC3's mission is to serve as a vehicle to receive, develop, and refer criminal complaints regarding the rapidly expanding arena of cyber crime. The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at the federal, state, local and international level, IC3 provides a central referral mechanism for complaints involving Internet related crimes.

The payday loan company should be able to access the information from the transaction which will give the IP address (internet provider and location of the computer used) of the person who did the application. If I were you and I did not take these loans out myself, I would certainly be working with the payday loan company to try and find out who did. If it is identity theft they could be helpful in prosecuting the person so that further fraud does not take place. All IP addresses are recorded in financial transactions. Keep us posted.
