I just check my Equifax report w/o the score and notice both BofA and the collection agency they sold it to are both on there claiming different amounts for the same account..I'm assuming the diff is interest and penalties..
Is that normal to have them both on there?
It looks like I owe 42k more than I do...

for some reason american express put themselves on our accoutns 5 times!!! it looked like we owned them over 100k. all the same account number but used our names differently. like just my first name...then just my initials, my married name, my name without being married and on and on... i listed every single one of them...just in case.
