We have a Lab Retriever pup--in his destructive and nippy phase. His value varies by the minute.

Eek. How much is an 8 year old used boxer with a weak bladder worth anyway? She was a rescue dog and costs me money each month.

Yes they do. I think it's for purposes of weeding out "high end" show quality breeds that perhaps bring in revenue for the owner. Our first GSD had a chronic licking habit and had to be treated by the vet several times for infection over the 7 years we had him. That cost alone exceeded what we paid for him. He was worth it though.
