    Mortgage Relief Bill

So much for the big mortgage reliefe bill signed by the President. I haven't heard of a lender yet willing to re-negotiate....especially my lender NATIONAL CITY. They are just as arrogant and cocky as always!

This new mortgage law reminds me of the new bk law passed in 2005 that Congress named the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act. What a joke! Didn't prevent abuse any better than the old law and certainly did not protect consumers.

Like BAPCPA, this new mortgage bill is just smoke and mirrors to keep us non-millionaire citizens complacent thinking Congress and the President are helping us when in reality they are helping rich people and corporations more, that's all.

Mortgagees to pay 3% of the purchase price and lower the mortgage.

Mortgagors to pay 1% funding fee every single year.

Pardon my French, it is like peeing in the ocean.
