About 3 years ago we walked from our house and it was sold a year after. Looking back at the loan documents, seems that MERS is listed. Is there any recourse for a resident in WA state who's primary loan was from Indymac? I read that some attorney generals are involved now. Can anyone provide any suggestions beyond filling in a basic complaint form that the AG has on their website?
We do not want our house back. We're wondering if there is any financial compensation.
