Just received a Order On Case Management/Status Hearing, Live in Florida Lake county

    Hi all,

We just got a letter in the mail today, Order On Case Management Status hearing. We have not pd our mortgage since 2010. We did have a lawyer at one time to pro-long the situation. Anyhow, for any body who knows, what does this hearing mean?? Does it mean they are closer to putting the house up for sale, or is this another process that will still take more time. We are wondering if we should hire our lawyer back again. For refrence we live in lake County Fl, outside of Orlando.

    TIA!!!

Is it an order setting a Case Management/Status hearing or an order entered after the hearing?

Either way, it sounds like the case is moving along. The following link is procedures for Case Management/Status hearings in Brevard and Seminole counties. The procedures may be different in your county. But, this will give you an idea of the purpose of the hearing. http://flcourts18.org/PDF/GUIDELINES...CONFERENCE.pdf

If you want to continue to delay the foreclosure, you should re-hire your attorney.
