Can I file a motion to change a BK filing if I am not a debtor or creditor?

I am not a debtor in a BK case. I want to buy a property that the trustee took possession and intends to sell.

Here is a simple example of what I want to do:

The property in the BK filing is just described as "toyota".

I want to file a motion to add to the description of the property "2012 Toyota Camry XE 4 door Vin number xxxxx with 12000 miles"

I need to change the description of the property to be more detailed. Anyone knows if I can file a motion to ask for a correction of the property description?

The short answer to your question is "no". You, as someone who wants to buy an asset, have no standing to file anything.

It sounds like you were looking at Schedule B prepared and filed by the Debtor. That Schedule lists the item in generic terms. If I am correct, the only one who can change Schedule B is the debtor. Regardless, I am not even sure why you would care how the vehicle is described if you already know what it is. If you want to make an offer to the Trustee, call him. If it is something he can sell he may use your offer as an opening bid.
