What happens to credit that attempts to post

to credit card, that was included in chapter 7 filing, after a successful 341 meeting but before official discharge? Wondering if that credit card company will keep that credit, or will they send me a check?

Based on the rules for at least Mastercard and VISA International -- and I assume American Express -- any refunds must go back to the original card. It is in all likelihood that refund is subject to a setoff and the bank will likely keep the money. I don't see them sending you any check, but stranger things have happened.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
