Hello, I’m getting ready to file (I think) chapter 13. Once I file and it is with the court. How much info about the specifics of the bankruptcy are public? Example. Income, type of debt, amount? Thanks.

If I recall correctly from looking at mine, pretty much everything regarding your debt; I don't remember seeing regarding my income.

I agree with shipo, but it's not super easy for the average person to get that information. I think most of it is listed on PACER which can be searched. I searched random people I know and a few relatives on PACER it was eye opening how many people have silently gone through BK which is what I did and I did not gossip to anyone about anything I read it just made me feel less alone in the BK experience. I don't think anyone will stumble upon your BK info accidently if that is what you are wondering.
