Check our State non-bankruptcy laws on debt collection practices. If the SOL has passed, then it has passed. The only thing that a junk debt buyer can do is send you mail and ask you to pay. They cannot threaten or use any sort of legal process to extract money from you or add it to the credit bureaus as a collection account.

yes i had question about statue of limitations, yes the debt im talking about is past statue of limits, i know the old creditor can't pursue this debt and sue, they have a third party working with them in trying to to get me to pay this debt, can third party sue, re age &debt for to tun in credit bureau thank you for any info anyone
