I've been spending a lot of time digging through court records and documents studying foreclosures back in NY due to complications in my foreclosure and not wanting to hire an attorney.
Anyway - today during my research, I came across a foreclosure case that sounded way too familar.
Turns out in this particular case, the woman filed BK on the SAME day as I did, used the SAME attorney as I did, and was at the SAME 341 as me. Her house is in foreclosure too - her Lender is the SAME lender as mine, and the attorney handling the case for the lender is the SAME attorney that's representing our lender.
That wasn't all bad enough - I looked up the street address of her home - she lived on the next block over from me.
Is that too weird or what???
