    Name change on CC?

I have a Sears card that I have had for years, way before I ever married. The card is still in my maiden name. Now that I am getting ready to file BK in a few months, should I call and have my name changed to my married name or just leave it as it is. I am current on this bill so if I call and change it now they won't have any idea what is going on yet. I just don't want them to say that is some kind of CC fraud.

    Anyone?

When this card is listed on your BK creditor matrix, the account number will be listed. That's what the cc creditor will use to identify the account. Do ask your lawyer when you retain him/her what's the best thing to do in this circumstance.
