What i need to know is how i pay direct debits, i know my bank account will be frozen and i will have to open a new basic one to get wages paid in to.

Since you are in the United Kingdom, bankruptcy processes and practices are very different than in the United States. You need to talk to a solicitor to get answers to these questions in your country.

Because gavpedz is in the United Kingdom, not the United States. Their insolvency (bankruptcy) rules there are very different than ours.
