Anything I should expect?
It looks like a pretty straightforward no asset Ch.7 with the only real issue being recent credit use and possible questions about transfers between me and my roommate (ex girlfriend, pretty normal transfers back and forth over the past 2 years for bills, etc).
I have all my tax returns for 2 years, bank statements and paystubs for 6 months, all my credit card bills, list of account numbers/payment addresses/amount owed/all recent use analized into a spreadsheet for filing timing issues, a credit report, lists of all sales of personal property (the last 6 months had me frantically selling personal items on Amazon.com to pay my bills), a budget, my credit counseling certificate, the filing fee/attorney fee ($850 + 299), some disclosures he mailed to me that I read and signed for our meeting...
I'm on the outer edge of my district so I have to drive in the night before and get a hotel room because it's such a long drive and the appointment is early AM. I'm taking the day off that day too. I plan on celebrating afterwards with friends "in the know" because the last year has been such a nightmare.
Am I missing anything? Should I be excited? Is that wrong?
Lets say everything looks good and he can file next Monday. I see from most it takes about 3 months from start to finish if there are no problems. Debt free in October?
