    Food?

For monthly expenditures is eating out a food or a entertainment expence?

    #2
It can be both really. In my family we eat mostly at home, on occasion we go out to eat so it's entertainment and seperate from the food expense. But for a single person or a family that eats out more than they eat at home do to convenience, most of the cost could be considered into their food budget.

It depends. Fast food or appetite/delicate? City or suburban? Carry-out or dine-in?.. etc...

It doesn't really matter. You have XX amount as a max allowable for food. If you can eat out on that amount more power to you. Burger King wouldn't count as entertainment, but taking the family out or going out on a dinner date could count for entertainment.

I figure trustees are more flexible about food expenses than they are about entertainment expenses, so I vote to put eating out in the food column!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
