Our 341 hearing was October 29th. We are trying to scratch up money to get this course done. I get paid again on dec. 14th and will have an extra $50 to do it. Is that too late?

The law doesn't specify a specific number of days - only that the post-filing debt management (financial education) course has to be done before discharge. Ask your lawyer if your district recommends a more specific timeframe. When does your 60 days post 341 end? 01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go -
Finally got ahold of our lawyer. She said it just needs to happen before the discharge date which is 12-28-07. So we are ok to wait until next payday 12-14 to pay for the course.
Normally we wouldn't be hurtin for money like this, we just screwed up and exceeeded our budget last pay period. We went out to eat a few too many times.
Its hard getting used to a new and tighter budget.
