    Amended Means Test

When reviewing the new amended means test effective 1/1/08, I notices a very minor play on works related to Communicatio9n expenses:

Other Necessary Expenses: telecommunication services. Enter the total average monthly amount that you
actually pay for telecommunication services other than your basic home telephone and cell phone service

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED

I believe cel phone charges will now be included in the utility/household category. Those amounts are increasing to include cel phones. I think I remember reading that somewhere. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think they have realized that many people use a cell phone as their house phone so have changed the rules to include cell phones as part of utilities, just like a regular house phone
