In looking at an online example for the median test for NC, I saw this:
Median State Income for North Carolina
1 earner (dollars) $33265
2-person families $44625
3-person families $50528
4-person families $59481
5-person families $52308
6-person families $47646
7-or-more-person families $47940
*Add $6,300 for each individual in excess of 4.
So, if my husband is now working and I'm collecting unemployment and we have a six year old son, we fall under the 3 person family above with a median of $50,528 - is this correct?
Also, if my husband's gross weekly paycheck (just the base, no overtime, etc.) is $660 and the net is $445 which figure do you use to calculate, the gross or net? Do you have to count any overtime for each week even if it's not guaranteed that he will even have overtime? I'm confused. Thanks again for the assistance!
